I’m Shanna (25 December 1993), a neurodivergent visual artist based in the Netherlands, Graduated with a Bachelor Illustration Design, ArtEZ in 2018.

While being one of the co-founders of Beeldkeuken, an art-collective in Zwolle, I made my living as a fine artist - painter for several years. During these years of painting I realized I missed a shared experience.

Therefore my emphasis shifted to tattooing that by now has developed to be a very natural branching off from painting. Making a tattoo for someone else's skin is for me an collaborative process that brings a lot of fulfillment.

In tattooing I love to enhance the body’s curves and movements with dynamic designs. All designs and brushstrokes are handmade, I prefer the unpredictableness of analog work over digital brushes. And therefore no design is ever the same.
